Farhana Khanum - Specialist Healthcare Scientist - Audiologist, BSc (Hons) RHAD
Hi, I’m Farhana, a qualified Senior NHS Audiologist with over 10 years of clinical experience in hearing and ear care.
I trained as a healthcare scientist specialising in audiology and completed my Healthcare Science degree at the University of Leeds in 2016. I am HCPC registered and continue to work within the NHS, ensuring I maintain the highest standards of clinical practice and patient care.
Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with both adults and children presenting with a wide range of hearing and ear-related concerns. My role includes conducting comprehensive hearing assessments, diagnosing hearing conditions, fitting and managing hearing aids, providing tinnitus counselling, and supporting patients with more complex hearing needs through rehabilitation and ongoing care. I am also fully qualified to perform microsuction ear wax removal, accredited by the British Academy of Audiology (BAA), and offer private ear wax removal treatments at the Natural Healthcare Centre in Burton-on-Trent.
Alongside my work in audiology, my interest in skin health and aesthetics led me to train with medical professionals from the award-winning Derma Institute, Mesoestetic, and IvanMed, as well as to achieve a Level 4 qualification in advanced electrolysis with leading specialists Sterex. Through this training, I developed expertise in advanced, evidence-based skincare treatments and blemish removal, and now run a private skincare clinic offering results-driven treatments designed to improve skin health and restore confidence.
My approach across both ear care and skin care is rooted in safety, clinical expertise and personalised care, ensuring every client receives treatment tailored to their individual needs.
