Farhana Khanum - Specialist Healthcare Scientist - Audiologist, BSc (Hons) RHAD
Farhana is a qualified, senior NHS Audiologist registered with the HCPC as a hearing aid dispenser after completing the Healthcare Science Audiology degree at the University of Leeds in 2016. Farhana is also qualified to perform microsuction ear wax removal accredited by the BAA.
Farhana has over 10 years experience of working in the NHS with adults and children presenting with a wide range of hearing difficulties. Her role incorporates conducting hearing assessments, diagnosing hearing problems, fitting and management of hearing aids, tinnitus counselling, as well as rehabilitation and evaluation of more complex hearing concerns. Farhana also provides an ear wax removal service in Burton-on-Trent.
